50 years are the
golden mean of life! It is time for maturity, wisdom and tranquility.
And this time for ideas and self-realization! The idea to create a blog has
long been in the air. "Are there many fashion blogs for women
over 50? Are there many such blogs in Russia? Let the "Elen Mind"
blog be the first blog for mature women!", I thought with my daughters,
Xenia and Anastasia, and created a blog.
50 лет – золотая середина жизни! Настало время
для зрелости, мудрости и спокойствия. А еще это время идей и самореализации! Мысль
создать блог давно витала в воздухе. «Много ли модных блогов для женщин после
50 лет? А много ли таких блогов в России? Пусть блог «Elen Mind» будет
первым блогом для зрелых женщин!», - подумала я вместе со своими дочерями,
Ксенией и Анастасией, и создала блог.
For
me, this is a real adventure! But if you do not take the risk, you will not be
able to try and you miss the moment. We conceived the project "Elen
Mind" not only as a personal blog about fashion,
shopping and beauty secrets but also as a platform for inspiration
and motivation of women over 50 years! Here we will write articles on the
topic: "How to be beautiful and happy in adulthood".
Для меня это настоящая авантюра! Но если не рискнуть, ты не сможешь
попробовать и упустишь момент. Мы задумывали проект «Elen Mind» не
только как личный блог о моде, шопинге и секретах красоты, но, и как площадку
для вдохновения и мотивации женщин после 50 лет! Здесь мы будем писать статьи
на тему: «Как быть красивой и счастливой в зрелом возрасте».
In
my opinion, this is an important question. What we look like affects our
internal state. And our emotions affect our appearance. I myself have often
noticed that negative thoughts limit opportunities, dreams and inspiration, and
ultimately, happiness. And only we are responsible for the way we choose!
На мой взгляд, это важный вопрос. То как мы выглядим, влияет на наше
внутреннее состояние. А наши эмоции влияют на наш внешний вид. Я сама не раз
порой замечала, что негативные мысли ограничивают возможности, мечты и
вдохновение, и в конечном итоге, счастье. И только мы в ответе за то, какой
путь мы выбираем!
I
decided to add these thoughts to my first post because I think I will
repeatedly re-read it and get a charge of cheerfulness and confidence for bold decisions
that are as bold as the idea to start this blog.
Эти мысли я решила добавить в свое первое сообщение, потому что думаю, буду
не раз его перечитывать и получать заряд бодрости и уверенности для смелых
решений, таких же смелых, как и идея завести этот блог.
For
the first post, I chose photos that were taken on a walk in the center of the
city. My outfit is casual and stylish at the same time. I love the
graphics, the simplicity of lines and shapes, basic colors, minimalism. All this is in my look.
A favorite element
of my outfit is a white T-shirt. She was sewed by my youngest daughter
Anastasia. And although this piece of clothing is often referred to as youth
fashion, we want to wear T-shirts at 40, and at 50, and at 60. And yes, it is
possible! You just need to comply with three conditions: a T-shirt should be
made of thick fabric, semi-adjacent silhouette and not contain inscriptions and
drawings. So it will harmoniously fit into your sporty outfit and casual style.
Любимый элемент моего наряда – белая футболка. Ее сшила моя младшая дочь
Анастасия. И хотя этот предмет одежды часто относят к молодежной моде,
носить футболки хочется и в 40, и в 50, и в 60 лет. И да, это
возможно! Просто нужно соблюдать три условия: футболка должна быть из плотной
ткани, полуприлегающего силуэта и не содержать надписи и рисунки. Так она
гармонично впишется и в ваш спортивный образ, и в стиль casual.
Today I wore a
T-shirt complete with thin wool trousers, cardigan and half-open shoes. Silk
scarf rich shades gave the image a little romance and tenderness. I confess
that this is how I felt myself. Although the same T-shirt can be quite
“brutal”. Wait for my new post on this topic in the coming days.
Сегодня я одела футболку в комплекте с брюками из тонкой
шерсти, кардиганом и полуоткрытыми туфлями. Шелковый шарф насыщенных оттенков
придал образу немного романтики и нежности. Признаюсь, что именно так я себя и
ощущала. Хотя та же самая футболка может быть достаточно «брутальной».

does not look like a chic outfit for a fashion week or a photo shoot. This is
the clothes that I choose in everyday life.
